The natural calendar features less human intervention than any other calendar. The only human intervention is the choice of the start of the year with all other aspects of the calendar set by the sun and the moon. Each year starts with the first full moon on or after the winter solstace. Each month starts with a full moon. Each week starts with a phase of the moon, full, 3rd quarter, new, 1st quarter, giving exactly 4 weeks per month. As in nature the year is not named but the number of moons is noted. Dates in parenthesis are for cross -reference only, and are not part of the natural calendar.
